My Journey To Better Health Week 2

This week has been great! I added a few more supplements into my regimen. I won't name everything I'm taking just because I think some people need different things depending on what they're deficient in.

One thing I noticed this week is that I don't have a lingering sugar craving all day and I really think that has to do with the fact that I a) started taking zinc and b) am eating more fats! Woo! I read somewhere online that if you're craving sugar all the time you could be deficient in zinc, so I put 2 and 2 together and realized that the cravings stopped once I started taking the zinc.

I went to Yin yoga this week too and that was great. It was more of a "stretchy" type yoga. I'm trying Barre tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it. I'm also just really trying to stress less during the day. I love staying busy and I love working, so it's hard for me to justify resting at all because I feel lazy. It's awful, but I'm learning to embrace it! 

I thought not doing the most intense CrossFit ever would be harder.. but ever since kind of hitting a wall in February, it's actually not that hard.. my mind does not want to go to that dark place for a very long time. LOL.

I think that's everything I've got this week. If nothing exciting happens this upcoming week - I might make these blog posts every other week just for the sake of keeping you guys un-bored.

Sidenote: how is it almost September?!?
